Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Student Cancellations

You may cancel a scheduled tutoring session according to the following rules:

• Free Cancellation: Cancel up to 24 hours before the session to receive a full refund.
• Late Cancellation: Cancelling within 24 hours of the session incurs a 3% cancellation fee.
• No-Show: Failure to attend without informing results in no refund.

2. Tutor Cancellations

• Tutors must notify at least 24 hours before cancellation.
• Students receive a full refund or a free reschedule.
• Repeated tutor cancellations may lead to penalties.

3. Rescheduling Policy

• Free rescheduling if requested 24+ hours prior.
• A small fee may apply for rescheduling within 24 hours.
• Sessions cannot be rescheduled after they have passed.

4. Refund Eligibility

✔ Full Refund

• Session canceled 24+ hours in advance
• Tutor cancels the session
• Technical failure from tutor side
• Duplicate payments

✔ Partial Refund

• Late cancellations: refund minus 3% fee
• Convenience charges (if any) non-refundable

❌ No Refund

• No-shows without prior notice
• Misuse of cancellations
• Violation of platform policies

5. Refund Timeline

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method or BookMySession wallet.

6. Quality-Based Refunds

If you're not satisfied with a tutor, contact us within 48 hours. We may:

• Assign a replacement tutor at no extra cost
• Provide a refund after review
